The past, present and future help to create who we are today. The person we once were, the person that we are, and the person that we pray to be someday all influence us in some way, shape and form. They create who we are at any given moment in time. They affect the way we act, react and feel about everything. We take all that is good and all that bad from the past, present and future to mold us into better persons.

Sometimes the past, present, and future affect me in ways I am not able to handle. They attack me at the deepest levels. In those times, I am so blessed to have an amazing husband who loves me and comforts me. He holds me in a soft yet firm embrace that makes me know that I am safe and protected in his arms always. There is nowhere else I would rather be at that moment than right in his arms. He does not have to say anything. He just has to touch me and I am assured that everything will be okay.

Sometimes there are no words to be said. Sometimes no sounds needs to be made. Sometimes it is best when there is nothing at all.
